Q: How do I sign up my school to be in the program?
A: It’s easy, just click on the Application link on our website and fill it out and hit submit.
Q: How many publicity points can my school receive each month?
A: You can submit ten items of publicity each month, for a total of 10,000 points.
Q: How can I view my school’s rankings in the program?
A: Click on School Shopping Program on our website, choose the mall your school participates in from the drop down menu, and you should see your school’s points.
Q: How does my school receive their award at the end of the program?
A: Each school that participates must show up to a Final Awards Ceremony in order to receive their award.
Q: What happens if our school doesn’t earn very many points?
A: Your school must earn a minimum of 40,000 points by December 31st to remain in the program.
Q: How can we promote the School Shopping Program at our school?
A: Distribute the flyers that we provide every time we send them to you. Create publicity items each month that promote the program throughout your school and send us back-up of all of these items to receive up to 10,000 publicity points.
Q: Do we have to turn in our receipts or can we keep them?
A: You may take your receipts to the mall to have them stamped and logged in, and then they will be returned to you. (Receipts must be handed in within 60 days of your purchase).
Q: Does each parent have to take their own receipts to the mall?
A: If your school would like to create a dropbox at your school that parent’s can drop their receipts in, you may do that and also receive 1,000 points each month that it is up.
Q: Can I collect receipts from the garbage or have stores collect them for me?
A: No! It is not a receipt drive, receipts in groups of time & date will be tossed out.
Q: Can we link our school’s website?
A: Yes. Simply put the following link on your website, http://www.marketingguru.com/school_shopping_program.php and then tell them to choose whichever mall your school participates in from the drop down menu.
