We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personally identifiable information you may provide to us or through the social media platforms. We have adopted this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain what information may be collected on our clients’ social media pages, how we use this information, and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the social media platforms the accounts are hosted on and does not apply to our collection of information from other sources.

This Privacy Policy, sets forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our clients’ social media pages. Depending on your activities when visiting our client’s social media page, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

– Social Media Page Visitors

Creative Marketing Arts collects non-personally-identifying information through social media platforms when visiting our client’s social media page such as, age, gender, location, language, and actions (such as clicking a button). Creative Marketing Arts’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Creative Marketing Arts’ client’s visitors use its social pages. From time to time, Creative Marketing Arts may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its clients social media pages.

– Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Creative Marketing Arts’ client’s social media pages choose to interact with the social media pages in ways that require Creative Marketing Arts to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Creative Marketing Arts gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, users who leave a comment on a giveaway. Users who release information publicly through user actions (such as commenting) understand that those actions are solely the users responsibility and personally-identifying information released in such a manner may be gathered.

– Minors usage of social media platforms and Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (U.S. Federal Law)

The social platforms our social media pages are hosted on do not allow minors under the age of 13 to sign up. Minors who bypass the age verification step when signing up for a social media platform are also bypassing the protection of their personal data and personally-identifying information and are responsible for their actions on the social media platform. If a minor’s social media account is being managed or created by their parent or legal guardian, then their parent or legal guardian is responsible for any activity the minors may make on the social media platform, including actions that may release personally-identifying data. This parent or guardian authentication is done by the social media platform and a parent or legal guardian who has authorized a minors account must also select what information may be collected and used on the social media platform. If you believe a minor who is under the age of 13 has falsified their age to be over 13 or if someone is impersonating a minor under the age of 13, then please contact the social media platform and report the account immediately. Below are quick links for Facebook and Instagram to report underage users, other social media platforms must be contacted to report underage users.
